The hardtuned 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT

I started on the bodywork on the Sprint GT while the SS pictured above was in paint. My goal was to beat the SS out of the shop with the GT by doing most of it myself. That didn't exactly work out. The bones of the GT were solid, thanks to Conrad's help early on with the rockers. There was a bit of surface rust on the roof peaking through, massive bondo behind the right front wheel, the passenger door skin was half fiberglass & bondo with issues in addition to dings and dents all over. The goal was to bring the car back to the original grey exterior.

Original Paint / Color

De-fuzzing the roof

The trunk lid

Smoothing the rear end

Stripping, cutting, welding, heating and so on...

Reskinning the passenger door, sounds easy.

Turning it over to the bodyshop
