The hardtuned 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT

Thought I'd try my hand at upholstery. Long ago I pulled the rear package tray cover off and ripped the upholstery off of it and threw it on the shelf. The vinyl was hammered and cracked, and I attemtped to use a textured plastic to make a replacement panel, which warped horribly in the sun. Borrowed Larry E's upholstery staple gun, got some proper texture vinyl from Classic Alfa and went to town. First was creating and reinforcing missing and broken pieces. Several of the mounting holes near the edges were torn and missing. Next was creating a template to show where the holes were, so I could find them once it was recovered. A think layer of felt-like material went under the top side, then I pulled the vinyl over the edges and slowly worked my way around with binder clips and then staples.
