SCG's 1937 Chevy

As purchased - north of Seattle in 1973. SCG spotted a "Car For Sale" sign, and had to stop and see what it was. It was literally in a barn behind the old lady's house and had been painted with a brush. She was the original owner, the rear seat had never been sat in, and when SCG paid for the car, she wrote a receipt on a pre-printed receipt slip that she had to cross the 18__ off of the year because it was printed before the turn of the century.

Here it is after repaint and a move from Washington to San Jose CA. This is the way I remember the car. This was probably taken late in 1975.

You'll note we lived on Zeppelin Ct. It was a popular sign among street-sign-thieves, so much so that the city welded the sign to the lamp post.
